At Mara Docks we offer a variety of different types of docks to fit your specific needs. We have experience with both fixed position and floating docks. Dock Construction
Our fiberglass docks are manufactured using the latest technologies. By using a vacuum infusing process (VIP) we are able to create stronger and more durable parts with a higher fiber to resin ratio. Our docks have been tried and tested in many different areas throughout the Okanagan with different weather abusing them.
- Each modular dock can be made in any lenght up to 14’ x 33’
- Our fiberglass logs can be specially weighted from 200 to 400 lbs each for maximum stability.
- All hardware is stainless steel or aluminum.
- Our hinges are fiber reinforced plastic with a bushing for a squeak-less movement.
Dock Options
We can build your dock with either a solid or grated surface. All our dock surfaces are water and UV resistant and do not rot like some traditional materials. Solid surfaces can be any color and have a slip resistant finish and will keep looking like new longer than other building materials.
We also use a ThruFlow™ grated surface finish that allows water and sunlight to penetrate. This helps minimize the effects on the environment and helps protect your dock from the effects of large waves and severe weather. ThruFlow™ panels also allow debris to pass through the surface, keeping your walking surface clean. It’s non-slip strength and durability are enough to take the punishment of any high-traffic industrial walkway.
